Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Urologist, you will join our dynamic healthcare team in Silverdale, specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide array of Urology cases, making a significant impact on their lives and families. We pride ourselves in practicing high quality, evidence based, and patient centered medicine.
You will provide compassionate and expert care, conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support the holistic well-being of our patients and their families within Franciscan Medical Group.
To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Urologist, possessing expertise in diagnosing and managing complex Urological disorders, alongside strong communication abilities. You will also demonstrate a deep commitment to patient-centered care and the capacity to thrive within a collegial and supportive environment.
PRN position based at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale, WA, a 386 bed Level III trauma center
SMMC opened a new, state of the art campus in 2020. Robots available onsite.
Applicants should be interested in a wide variety of general Urology cases and doing clinic, rounding and surgeries.
- Weekend call coverage shifts
Silverdale is located on the peninsula in Kitsap County which is surrounded by water in every direction, mountains, beautiful landscapes and fresh air. Outdoor activities abound including hiking, biking, kayaking and whale watching.
If you prefer to venture off to the city, Seattle is just a short ferry ride away.
Job Requirements
Required
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Urology
Active or eligible license in the state of Washington
Strong clinical skills with experience in general Urology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and families
