Job Description
Responsibilities:Â
Work as a consultant with a larger team or independentlyÂ
Gather requirements and data, understand abstract concepts and then interpret with effective UI/UX design, addressing user and client needsÂ
Work fluidly/responsively in both mobile and desktop formatsÂ
Design wireframes, user flows, information architecture, prototypes, and perform usability studiesÂ
Collaborate with other UX designers, front and backend teams, product owners, project managers. clients and their customers to create great user experiences in often complex web productsÂ
Work effectively and be able to time-box your design processÂ
Create effective, even stunning interactive solutions within scopeÂ
Solve complex user interface problems with elegant, on-trend designÂ
Communicate professionally and transparentlyÂ
Finish what you startÂ
Qualifications/Requirements:Â
BA in Design or related fieldÂ
Minimum 4 years in web/mobile designÂ
Complete fluency with industry design tools such as Illustrator/Photoshop/Sketch to develop all phases of UIÂ
Excellent communication skills - ability to take criticism and iterate on feedbackÂ
Deep understanding of importance of UX and work to prove itÂ
Experience taking complex problems and creating smooth, seemingly simple user flowsÂ
Portfolio demonstrating use of design principles and contemporary design trendsÂ
Experience in dashboard and data visualization designÂ
Strong understanding of the responsive webÂ
Solid understanding of web technologies like HTML5 and CSS3, their usage/limitationsÂ
Familiar with agile/scrum methodologyÂ
Experience performing User Research, Persona development, User Journeys, Wireframe dev and creating Prototypes
