Role Scope:Ā
We are looking forĀ anĀ EHRĀ Associate Analyst toĀ assistĀ in the development, support, functionality roll, and long-term support of the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and other supporting IT systems.Ā OptimizingĀ workflow processes through building applications that are tailored to meet the needs.Ā In this role, you will also be the subject matter expert for theĀ EHRĀ systemĀ capabilities and functional use. You willĀ alsoĀ assistĀ in the implementation, testing, go-live, and long-term support.Ā
- Designs, configures, tests, debugs, documents, andĀ maintainsĀ programs/applications.Ā
- Applies detailed knowledge of system functionality to the implementation of new applications and modules.Ā Drives testing,Ā trainingĀ and other organizational needs around key IT systems.Ā
- UsesĀ technical and analytical skills toĀ determineĀ best approaches to tailoringĀ systemĀ to meetĀ Habitat HealthāsĀ goals of standardization across the health system.Ā
- BuildsĀ andĀ configuresĀ systemsĀ to meet requirements, using available application tools.Ā
- Creates documentation of business requirements, current and future state workflows, and any custom build asĀ appropriate.Ā
- Manages small and medium sized projects with minimal managerial oversight. May take a key leadership role in larger projects. Develops key project management tools, including project plans, issues logs, testing plans, and go-live events.Ā
- Develops strong relationships with end user communities, customers, and business partners.Ā
- Responds to issues reported by users;Ā conductsĀ research andĀ resolvesĀ issues inĀ a timelyĀ fashion.Ā
- Manages Epic community connect vendor (OCHIN) to track issues, maintenance,Ā enhancementsĀ and other changes to Epic systemĀ
- Review release notes to stay on top of upcoming changes, working with internal stakeholders to prioritize and time implementation of new functionalityĀ Ā
Ā
QualificationsĀ and CompetenciesĀ
- PreviousĀ healthcareĀ IT or other relevant experience.Ā
- Epic certification in area of support or certification within 3 months of hireĀ
- Excellent analytical, technical, and organizational skillsĀ demonstratedĀ through prior healthcare IT experienceĀ
- Ability to learn new vendor applications quickly andĀ utilizeĀ application tools to tailor system to meet user requirementsĀ
- Excellent oral and written communication skillsĀ
- Ability to work independently and as a team member across multiple teamsĀ
- Ability to develop, document and ensure adherence to technical standardsĀ
- Ability to independently research and perform analysis to resolve complex issuesĀ
- Must be self-motivated, detail-orientedĀ and able to manage oneās own work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesĀ
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office toolsĀ
- Must be a team player andĀ demonstrateĀ interest in a longer-term roleĀ

Desired Qualifications:Ā
- Bachelorās degree in Clinical, Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Computer Systems, orĀ another related field.Ā
- Strong understanding of healthcare business process and technologyĀ
- Basic understanding of clinical workflows and terminologyĀ
- Healthcare IT experience in acute care or ambulatory care settings,Ā PACE experience preferredĀ
- Working knowledge of IT solutions and interfacingĀ
Compensation:Ā Ā
We take into account an individualās qualifications, skillset, and experience in determiningĀ finalĀ salary. This role is eligible for medical/dental/vision insurance, short and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) savings, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The expected salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000Ā and is a bonus eligible position.Ā The actual offer will be at the companyās sole discretion andĀ determinedĀ by relevant business considerations, including the final candidateās qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.Ā
