Job Description
The Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the outlet. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first impression and delivering a warm, professional, and organized guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments efficiently
- Maintain an organized seating plan to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and handle bookings accurately
- Communicate effectively with service staff to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor dining area activity and adjust seating arrangements as needed
- Ensure the entrance and reception area are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
- Provide guests with menus and basic information about the outlet
- Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and escalate when necessary
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times
