The A.C. Coy Company has an immediate need for an HR Operations Specialist. This individual will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations across benefits, leave administration, onboarding/offboarding, and employee data management, while leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.

Our ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a corporate Human Resources role, strong HRIS and Excel skills, and a good working knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, leave administration, on/offboarding, and HR reporting.

Responsibilities
HR Operations & Employee SupportÂ
- Provide routine employee support by responding to HR-related questions and requestsÂ
- Escalate complex employee relations, benefit, or leave issues as appropriateÂ
- Maintain employee documentation and provide general administrative HR supportÂ
- Support and track key HR processes to ensure timely and accurate completionÂ
- Coordinate and manage HR process workflows, ensuring consistency and efficiencyÂ
Onboarding & OffboardingÂ
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-endÂ
- Send welcome communications and new hire materialsÂ
- Initiate and monitor background checksÂ
- Enter employee data into ADP and other systemsÂ
- Partner with IT to generate and track onboarding/offboarding ticketsÂ
Benefits AdministrationÂ
- Support administration of benefits programs including enrollments, terminations, and life eventsÂ
- Respond to general employee benefit inquiries and escalate complex issues as neededÂ
- Assist with invoice reconciliation and vendor coordinationÂ
- Support open enrollment planning, coordination, and communicationsÂ
Leave AdministrationÂ
- Support leave of absence processes including tracking, documentation, and communicationÂ
- Coordinate STD/LTD paperwork and ensure timely submissionÂ
- Ensure a smooth and organized leave process for employees and managersÂ
HR Systems, Data & ReportingÂ
- Maintain employee data within HR systems ensuring accuracy and integrityÂ
- Run and distribute routine and ad hoc reportsÂ
Qualifications
Required:
Â
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Operations role
- Exposure to benefits and leave administration (including FMLA, STD/LTD)Â
- Experience supporting benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and HR operations processes
- Proficiency with an HRIS; Experience with HR reporting tools or dashboardsÂ
- Strong Excel skills (data organization, formulas, pivot tables)Â
- Working knowledge of MS SharePointÂ

- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
- Experience supporting multi-state and/or Canadian workforceÂ
- Familiarity and experience building custom reports
