Compensation range: $20.94 - $23.27Â per hourÂ

Position Summary
Location:Â Santa Clara, CA
Hours: 5:30 am - 2:00 pm must be flexibleÂ
Â
The Installer/Driver receives, unloads, and installs (assembles) systems furniture (modular) and freestanding furniture.  Ensures accurate and timely installation of products in compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications and to the customer’s satisfaction.Â

Essential Responsibilities:Â
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and occasional transportation of furnitureÂ
- Install (assemble) furniture – both modular and freestanding, in compliance with the manufacturer’s specificationsÂ
- Identify and develop product lists, from blueprints, necessary to complete installations.Â
- Install furniture in compliance with design specificationsÂ
- Provide fine-tuning of furniture upon completion of installation, ie, cleaning, wiping down, and levelingÂ
- Take direction from Lead Installer and Supervisor for loading, transport, unloading, staging, stripping, assembly, and movement of furnitureÂ
Qualifications:Â
Â
Education/ExperienceÂ
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Â

Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesÂ
- Mechanical ability with knowledge of hand/power tools listed under Required ToolsÂ
- Good organizational skillsÂ
- Ability to follow instructionsÂ
- Must have reliable transportation to work at job sites throughout the Bay AreaÂ

- Collaborate in diverse teams to foster productive outcomesÂ
- Knowledge of Google Suite Programs Â

18V Cordless drill, charger & 2 batteries, apex/magnetic bit holder, bits (P2, P3, R2, R3) & nut drivers, drill bits for wood & metal, socket adapters, ratchet set, wonder bar, torpedo level, dead blow (non-marking), (3) standard & (3) Philip screwdrivers, pliers, channel locks, needle nose, tape measure, open wrench set, 3 light electrical tester, utility knife, allen wrench set (standard & metric), vise grips & tool bag. Â

Physical RequirementsÂ
Seeing, color and depth perception, hearing/listening, clear speech, touching, ability to move distances within and between warehouses/offices, ability to mount and dismount forklift/truck, pushing/pulling, driving, lifting to 100 pounds, and carrying up to 50 pounds.  Must be able to climb up into and down from delivery trucks, and walk up and down ramps where required.Â

Work EnvironmentÂ
Works around dust and dirt, may be required to work different shifts and work hours; may work alone or with a team; in moderate heat or cold, around electrical equipment, fumes/odors, and/or dirt/dust.  Generally works around loud noises such as trucks, forklifts, and power hand tools.Â
