$7.50/hr Night/Weekend Differential
The Vascular Lab RN delivers specialized care and treatment to patients undergoing interventional/vascular procedures. The staff is on-call for off shifts/weekends as scheduled. Staff must be able to respond to the hospital's call.

Responsibilities
- Able to take call based on "on-call" policy.
- Strong EKG rhythm interpretation skills.
- Ability to provide leadership in Emergency or Code Blue roles.
- Maintain ability to perform in an assertive yet supportive manner when functioning with physicians in the procedural setting.
- Maintain knowledge of patient equipment and therapeutic modalities utilized in the Endovascular Lab.
- Maintain knowledge of medications and conscious sedation used in the Endovascular Lab.
- Complies with department policies regarding appropriate sterile technique and radiation safety.
- Participate in education, community activities and performance improvement projects.
- Oversees maintenance and provides troubleshooting of equipment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
- Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within 3 months from hire date.
- Must possess and maintain current ACLS or Core certification or obtain within 3 months from hire date.
- Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
- Multicultural sensitivity.
- Microsoft Office – basic computer skills.
- Customer/patient focused.
- Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
