Job Description

As the E-Books Shipping Clerk you would be responsible for the fulfillment of orders by properly assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material. Also be expected to maintain an excellent customer service rating to ensure approval and continued relationships with all seller sites. Daily tasks may change, so flexibility and adaptability to the changing needs of the department is key. 

Duties will also include but are not limited to:

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or record keeping purposes
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepared materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter
• Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements or to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
• Confer or correspond with other team members or customers to rectify problems, such as damages or nonconformance to specifications

External Hiring Range:  $10.00/hour

Travel required: No

Qualifications

• No Education AND 1 or more years of experience using the internet to find information required. OR
• High school diploma or equivalent AND no experience required.
  • Experience with online merchandising, selling on auction sites preferred.

REQUIRED CLEARANCES, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• Candidates are expected to provide current valid Child Abuse Clearance.
