Insurance Administrator

Minerva Marine, a leading maritime company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as an Insurance Administrator. This is a critical role within our company that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Communicates, coordinates and maintains the appointment agenda between the Insurance Manager and other departments and/or third parties/insurance contacts.
• Maintains office files and records.
• Assists in all administrative activities.
• Receives and refers visitors and telephone callers.
• Distributes mail and responds with formal letters to routine requests.
• Assembles relevant data as directed.
• Produces a variety of correspondence and reports.
• Handles administrative aspects of Group Medical Program.

• University degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Insurance, Maritime, Law).
• Shipping industry experience and specifically in operations and claims functions will be considered an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of English.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset.
• Driven with good organizational skills and ability to resolve conflicts smoothly.
• Excellent communication skills, building relationships easily, high empathy.
