Responsibilities
- Install and maintain various piping systems in compliance with project specifications.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine installation requirements.
- Fabricate and assemble piping components as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed according to local codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve piping issues to ensure system efficiency.
- Inspect piping systems regularly for leaks and other potential hazards.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in pipefitting or plumbing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in construction or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of piping systems, materials, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor and working in various environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications in pipefitting preferred.
