Responsibilities
- Set up and operate TIG welding equipment to join metal components according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand welding requirements and specifications.
- Perform quality inspections on welds to ensure they meet visual and technical standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize welding processes and improve efficiencies in production.
- Maintain welding equipment in proper working condition through regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all welding operations.
- Document work completed, including welding processes and any issues encountered during production.
- Participate in training programs to enhance welding skills and stay updated on new techniques and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in TIG welding preferred.
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder with a strong understanding of welding processes and techniques.
- Ability to work with various metals, particularly stainless steel and aluminum.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity, with a strong focus on safety practices.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to work on different projects and locations as required.
