Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to fabricate parts accurately.
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials using various hand and power tools according to project requirements.
- Perform welding, soldering, and other joining techniques to produce durable and high-quality products.
- Inspect fabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve fabrication issues as they arise.
- Keep track of materials used and assist in inventory management as necessary.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay updated on new fabrication techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in fabrication is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Fabricator or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina for handling tools and materials.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- A valid driver’s license and flexibility to work on various job sites as required.
