Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for CSA works based on project specifications and drawings.
- Conduct cost analysis and develop budgets for civil, structural, and architectural components of projects.
- Manage the procurement process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids from contractors.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure financial control throughout the project's lifecycle.
- Update and maintain bills of quantities for CSA works in collaboration with project teams.
- Advise on contractual matters and assist in negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Perform risk assessments related to costs and provide solutions to mitigate risks.
- Stay informed about industry trends and standards to best support project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a focus on civil, structural, and architectural projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, as well as MS Office.
- Excellent analytical skills and a strong understanding of financial management.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Membership in a relevant professional organization (e.g., RICS) is a plus.
