Responsibilities
- Design and develop process systems for various engineering projects, focusing on efficiency and compliance.
- Create and modify process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and other design documents.
- Conduct process simulations and calculations to optimize design parameters and ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess design feasibility and integrate engineering solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports related to process designs.
- Contribute to design reviews and provide feedback to enhance project outcomes.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform design decisions.
- Ensure all designs and processes comply with safety regulations and quality assurance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Process Design Engineer or in a similar engineering role.
- Strong understanding of process design principles and experience with design software tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple design projects.
