Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate carpentry teams throughout project phases.
- Interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide work activities.
- Allocate tasks efficiently, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective measures.
- Train, mentor, and motivate carpenters and apprentices to enhance team performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues.
- Manage material ordering, inventory, and equipment maintenance to support project requirements.
- Proven experience as a Foreman Carpenter or in a senior carpentry supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of carpentry methods, tools, and materials.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- In-depth understanding of health and safety standards and regulations on construction sites.
- Physical stamina and hands-on experience in carpentry work.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites as necessary.
