Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Program CNC machinery using G-code and other relevant programming languages.
- Monitor machining processes, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and quality.
- Conduct inspections of finished components using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, including setup sheets and inspection reports.
- Adhere to all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to continuously improve processes and productivity.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming, operation, and setup procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD documents accurately.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality assurance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
