We are hiring a Product Owner to drive the TI Platform execution work, with a focus on data and third-party integration to enhance overall platform capabilities. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and collaborate with engineering, and stakeholders to deliver seamless integrations that support Flexera’s strategic goals.
About the Role
Flexera is seeking a technically strong Product Owner to drive the strategy and execution of our APIs, integrations, and platform automation capabilities. You will own the product backlog for API-driven features and cross-cloud integrations, working closely with engineering, architecture, and design teams to deliver scalable, secure, and connector-rich platform experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog across platform capabilities, translating business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Define technical requirements, including interfaces and data contracts, partnering with engineering on feasibility.
- Drive the roadmap for platform integrations enabling data flow between internal systems and external platforms.
- Lead requirements for automation and notification capabilities, including automated workflows and approval processes.
- Collaborate with architects on system design trade-offs and constraints.
- Define identity, access, and authorization requirements across the platform.
- Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team within an Agile framework.
Required Skills
- APIs and Integration: Strong understanding of APIs, endpoints, and data contracts; experience with API-based platforms and integrations.
- Cloud Fundamentals: Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP services; familiarity with multi-cloud environments and onboarding flows.
- Identity and Access: Solid understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including common access control models (e.g., role-based and attribute-based), roles, permissions, and integration with identity providers.
- System Design: Ability to understand architecture designs and make informed decisions on trade-offs.
- Data and Analytics: Understanding of data models and schemas; ability to define reporting requirements.
- Automations and Connectors: Understanding of integration patterns for inbound and outbound data flows, and experience defining automated workflows such as event-driven triggers, approval processes, and notification services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- 4+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Technical Business Analyst on platform products; prior background in software development preferred.
- Agile/Scrum experience (CSPO a plus).
