R&D unit in KTI is responsible for developing digital services at KONE. It’s the development engine for our Digital Services such as KONE 24/7 Connected Services, Office Flow and Partnership Ecosystem. Why this role?
We are seeking a Variant Configuration Engineer with expertise in CPQ Developments. This role will focus on Development and Maintenance of Product Models for Elevator & Escalator products manufactured at various KONE Factories while maintaining high operational standards. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, experience in the SAPVC or PDMVC and the ability to manage operational KPIs effectively. The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work comfortably in diverse cultural environments. Some travel is required.
What will you be doing?
Creation, Maintenance & Deployment of Elevator & Escalator CPQ Product Models.
Closely work with R&D/Project team to manage variants for New Products/Releases
To ensure the functionality of KONE product configurations by programming and testing these product configurations using the programming languages defined for this specific job
Flexible to work with any CPQ tools like SAP, CAMOS, VariPDM
Preparation of reports for data analysis & ensuring timely and quality project delivery.
Debug CPQ issues from Sales Team, factory, and suppliers.
Required Skills:
Good knowledge in SAP, VariPDM & VariClient.
Strong Knowledge in C++ or Java (Object oriented programming)
CPQ (Configure, Price & Quote) proficiency is an asset.
Basic knowledge in VB & Python
Strong knowledge in MS Office Tools
Preferred Skills:
Data Analytics, AI & ML expertise is preferable.
Elevator knowledge is added advantage to this profile.
Knowledge in KONE Products and Processes.
Are you the one?
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ECE/E&I/CSE/IT) / MCA / MSC Computer science
2 - 5 years of Relevant experience
Good Debugging and Analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to procedure and guidelines.
