At Novonesis, we are committed to improving lives through sustainable solutions powered by biology. As part of our Tianjin TEDA plant, you will join a dedicated maintenance team that ensures the reliability and performance of critical equipment and facilities.

The maintenance team consists of approximately 35 professionals, including technicians, engineers, and supervisors. Together, we work closely with production to maintain stable operations, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. By keeping our equipment running efficiently, the team plays a vital role in supporting continuous and stable production.

The Role & Your Impact

As a Skilled Worker in Repair & Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment reliability and operational efficiency across the plant. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality requirements within your assigned area
• Performing preventive maintenance and routine inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Diagnosing and resolving unexpected equipment failures in a timely manner
• Supporting repair and maintenance activities across the entire plant as needed
• Continuously developing multi-skilled capabilities and collaborating across technical disciplines

Through your work, you will directly contribute to minimizing downtime and maintaining safe, stable production operations.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A technical school diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in mechanical equipment installation and maintenance
• Hands-on experience with components such as bearings, mechanical seals, and valves
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Solid problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a hands-on approach
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

The following qualifications are considered advantageous:

• Certifications such as welding, electrical, forklift, or refrigeration licenses
• Experience working with systems such as DCS, BMS, or PLC
• A proactive attitude toward learning and developing cross-functional technical skills

• Standard daytime working hours (day shift)
• Overtime may be required based on operational needs
• Fully on-site role at the Tianjin plant
• Physical work is required, including manual handling and prolonged standing
• Work environment includes exposure to factory conditions such as noise, dust, and high temperatures
