Demand and Supply Planner

You will join the planning team within our Supply Chain organization. The team translates market demand into clear, executable supply and inventory plans that support smooth, efficient operations across the business.
You will be working closely with Sales, Business Finance, Global Supply Managers, Production, Logistics, and Capacity Planning, the team contributes directly to Novonesis’ purpose by ensuring reliable product availability, proactive risk management, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

The Role & Your Impact

• Develop and maintain a rolling 24-month demand forecast, ensuring high-quality planning inputs to support business decisions.
• Act as a key interface between planning and sales, leading regular S&OP meetings, identifying key demand drivers, and driving alignment on risks and opportunities.
• Build and maintain a feasible production plan aligned with the agreed demand plan and S&OP process.
• Ensure high service levels for customer and intercompany orders, proactively managing risks and minimizing business impact in case of supply constraints.
• Manage WIP and finished goods (FG) inventories across relevant production sites to balance service, cost, and inventory targets.
• Gain broad exposure and rotation opportunities across the end-to-end supply chain with functions such as supply chain solutions and logistics, to deepen expertise and expand career pathways within the supply chain organization.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain planning or a relevant function, with a solid track record of delivering results.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and planning principles (S&OP / IBP).
• Proficiency in planning systems such as SAP IBP, APO, or MRP; strong analytical skills with advanced Excel capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
