About this role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and grow our customer base within the technical polymers processing industry across Catalonia area. This role focuses on managing existing business relationships and developing new opportunities in the field of standard polymers, engineering plastics, and high performance materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, a solid technical understanding of polymer processing applications (such as injection moulding, extrusion or compounding), and a clear focus on delivering long-term customer value and success.

Key Responsibilities:
Â
Account Management:Â Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers in the polymers processing industry.
Business Development:Â Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting new clients and expanding product penetration.
Sales Strategy:Â Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with company objectives.
Product Promotion: Promote engineering plastics, providing technical and commercial support.
Market Intelligence:Â Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
Collaboration:Â Work closely with internal teams (technical service, supply chain, marketing) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reporting:Â Provide regular updates on visits to customers, sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Â
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Polymer Science or related areas.
Additional education is advantageous.
Â
Experience
3+ years of proven experience in distribution sales as account manager.
Experience in the Polymer industry is preferred.
Prior experience working in a matrix organization is a plus.
Â
Other requirements
Excellent command of both oral and written local language(Catalan/Spanish).
Fluent in English language is required.
Additional languages will be beneficial.
Ability & willingness to travel extensively within the assign territory (60% +)
