Position Summary:ย 

Assists in the receipt, investigation and resolution of charged off accounts.

Key Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Responsible for investigating and processing assigned accounts as well as recording all research and work performed
  • Uses research to determine the appropriate account classification and updates the accounts as appropriate
  • Obtains account information/verification from seller and electronically files documentation per policy and procedure
  • Serves as a liaison between Inventory Management and internal departments to research accounts ad hoc and provides information as required to appropriate parties
  • Performs ad hoc tasks assigned by management
  • Contributes to a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Participates in all required training and ensure compliance with training and regulatory requirements across areas of organizational responsibility
  • Identifies violations of Company policies and practices; informs management of behaviors that may significantly impact the Company

Professional Experience/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, associate's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience working in collections, customer service, or account inventory type positions, preferably in the collections industry.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Office, Word and Excel and internet

  • Ability to define problems, organize and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion

  • Ability to work flexible schedule
  • Self-aware, self-motivated, reflective, and able to learn from mistakes, with an ability to learn quickly while on the job
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral), judgement, and collaboration skills to interact positively across all levels of organization
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Fluent English
