Senior Release Management

As Release Manager, you will drive the team to execute in a timely manner, keep track of projects progress, and work with internal and external stakeholders. You will closely interact and work with Dev leads, Dev, QA, and other teams to make sure software is delivered per schedule and in great quality.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and track the build, test, and deployment of releases
• Enable efficient release process/governance
• Identify, communicate and manage risks
• Identify and manage dependencies; coordinate delivery across scrum teams
• Measure release cadence and effectiveness using common metrics; own release dashboards
• Plan and lead periodic release status review meetings with senior management
• Collaborate with other release managers to define and improve organizational standards for release management.
• Drive release and backlog planning and prioritization
• Lead change management activities and ensure timely decisions on change requests
• Balance delivery urgency with thoughtful pacing, ensuring teams can execute sustainably and effectively

Skills and knowledge most relevant to the job:

• Knowledge of Agile SCRUM software development methodology
• Proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
• Excellent facilitation and listening skills; able to surface concerns, align stakeholders, and build trust across teams to enable collaboration
• Ability to balance drive with discipline—knowing when to push forward and when to slow down to ensure quality and clarity
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew and English
• Proven ability to Drive and Coordinate to accomplish desired outcomes
• Experience driving positive change via process improvement
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Data savvy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree plus 3-5 years of relevant experience (QA Engineer, software development, program/release management etc.) preferably with software development or IT organizations
• Prior experience with agile development.
• PMI training / PMP certification would be a plus.
