TheĀ Commercial Account Manager (CAM) will sell products and services by interacting with commercial business customers and developing new relationships.Ā The CAMĀ will work to develop long-term relationships withĀ customers via commercial maintenance contracts and putĀ the Company in a position to help the customer with their HVAC needs.Ā

Key Responsibilities:Ā 

  • Utilizes effective sales techniques, including networking and ā€œcold callingā€ to develop new accounts for commercial maintenance, service, retrofit and replacement business.Ā 
  • Actively manages andĀ maintainsĀ relationships with strategic commercial customers and supports the ongoing relationships with theseĀ customers.Ā Ā 
  • Ensures that the customer receives consistent service delivery in all locations.Ā 
  • Utilizes the assessment tool and other relevant systems and informationĀ toĀ prepare the proposal for the commercial customer. ExplainsĀ technical information to the customer in an easy-to-understandĀ manner.Ā 
  • Prepares and presents service contracts for new customers and updates renewal contracts for existing customers.Ā 
  • Enters new customer data and other sales data for customers into contact database.Ā 
  • Prepares weekly reports of contracts sold, details of business transactions and customers contacted.Ā Ā Ā 
  • Confers with owners of existing buildings and inspects premises toĀ determineĀ installation or service requirements.Ā 
  • Presents bid to customer and explains credit termsĀ andĀ cost factors, emphasizing quality,Ā performanceĀ and service.Ā 
  • Coordinates transition from new commercial installation customer to ongoing maintenance/service customer by meeting with owner and preparing proposals to meet their ongoing HVAC needs at project completion.Ā 
  • Contacts owners periodically to advise of progress of work and resolve any service problems.Ā 
  • Contacts property owners and construction agents of prospective customers to obtain information on building specifications andĀ submitsĀ information to commercial sales/estimating department.Ā 
  • Lead generation for prospective customers for use as sales leads based upon information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet web sites and other sources.Ā 
  • Develops andĀ maintainsĀ relationships with purchasing contacts.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:Ā 

  • The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.Ā Ā 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceĀ required.Ā 
  • Proven sales experience with emphasis on business-to businessĀ selling, cold-callingĀ and generating sales fromĀ networking and lead generation.Ā 
  • Knowledge of commercial service sales concepts,Ā practicesĀ and procedures.Ā 
  • ExcellentĀ verbalĀ and writtenĀ communication skills and strong relationship-managementĀ ability.Ā 
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with customers.Ā 
  • Ability to work cooperatively with technical, administrative and support staff.Ā 
  • Ability to workĀ with Microsoft Office, contact management software and databases.Ā 
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Ā 
  • Knowledge of the commercial HVAC industry preferred.Ā 
  • Self-starter with a desire to learn and to grow the business.Ā 
  • The ability to workĀ occasional overtime and weekend hours asĀ required.Ā 
  • The successful incumbent must be able to meet theĀ minimumĀ requirements for our background check criteria.Ā
