    Dentist duties and responsobilities:Β 

    The primary duty of a dentist is to deliver a high standard of care to every patient. To this end, they may have the following job duties:

    • Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient’s health
    • Developing treatment plans to deal with any dental health issues
    • Providing cosmetic services like teeth whitening,Β  enhance the appearance of teeth
    • Filling cavities, performing root canals, applying crowns and installing bridges and implants to fix broken and missing teeth
    • Administering or prescribing medications to decrease pain and improve patient health
    • Interacting with patients and instructing them on proper oral care
    • Measuring and fitting dental appliances
    • Maintaining accurate patient records
    • Managing Dental Staff, assigining duties and schedules for support staff
    • Maintaining and completing notes for billing
