Job Description

We are looking for a Finance Process Analyst who is passionate about implementing lean processes, providing exceptional quality service, and driving key project initiatives that will help manage process improvements. The analyst will manage support inquiries from internal customers, implement resolutions, and propose ideas to address requests to support business growth. Additionally, they will work closely with Product, Operations and Technology to implement changes and new initiatives in finance. The role will provide an opportunity to learn about Almosafer business, a company dedicated to changing the travel industry in the MENA region.

The successful candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, communicate clearly and effectively, manage high volumes of tasks and projects and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround. The candidate will also be customer-service oriented and have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to easily switch gears.ย 

Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assessing and documenting systems and processes across the finance function
  • Identifying gaps and areas of improvement in system behavior and processย 
  • Conduct requirement gathering from stakeholders on issues or new projectsย 
  • Creating project plans with supporting documentation/analysis
  • Responsible to ensure UAT on Finance projects are managed efficiently and in a timely fashion in collaboration with multiple teams
  • Manage and address all the queries from finance community related to Finance System and processes
  • Design and develop automated reports, dashboards for various Finance Teams in collaboration with the stakeholders
  • Perform other responsibilities and tasks as required to meet department objectives

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in areas of automation, project or process
  • Master's / Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration domain
  • Problem solving ability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Teamwork mentality
  • Willingness to convert ideas to realityย 
  • Experience in SAP (or other major ERPs), JIRA and any workflow tools will be added advantage
