Description
This is an in office role with preference for a candidate to sit in Columbus, Cleveland, Pittsburgh or Detroit. May consider other corporate office locations in the Huntington footprint.
Summary:
The Business Analyst - Sr leads assigned projects and/or provides advanced specialized consultative support to other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s).
- Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
- Recommends business practices to optimize use of business process/system(s).
- Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems.
- Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
- Develops and generates special and ad hoc reports.
- Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.
- Serves as liaison between software vendors and business process system users and other corporate areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 5 years of reporting, data analytics and dashboard development experience to include SQL, SAS, Power BI, and Tableau experience
- High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in reporting, analytics, dashboard development, SQL, SAS, Power BI, and Tableau may be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL coding experience
- Proficient user level of SAS
- Ability to develop reporting and workflows in Power BI and Tableau
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment with excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and organizational skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and solutions
- Proficiency in managing multiple priorities and ability to re-prioritize as appropriate
- Ability to think strategically
- Understanding of Project Management methodologies

Compensation Range:
$57,000.00 -$124,000.00 Annual SalaryThe compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
