Job Summary
Salisbury University is seeking a dynamic and qualified individual to lead its 13-time National Championship winning NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Program. This full-time position involves comprehensive management of one of the NCAA’s premier Men’s Lacrosse programs and demands a high level of professionalism, strategic leadership, and the ability to foster a competitive and supportive team environment. The successful candidate will oversee the comprehensive management of the program and requires a deep commitment to the recruitment, development, and overall well-being of student-athletes.
The successful candidate will uphold the values and expectations of Salisbury University and the Athletics department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supervising and instructing student-athletes during practices and competitions;
- Organizing all aspects of team operations, including scheduling, travel, and equipment management;
- Handling all administrative responsibilities in compliance with NCAA Division III regulations and University standards.
This role demands a high level of professionalism, strategic leadership, and the ability to foster a competitive and supportive team environment.
Authority and Accountability
This position reports to the Director of Athletics.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated experience and success in collegiate lacrosse, head coaching experience preferred
- Strong foundational knowledge of NCAA Division III compliance and sport specific rules, regulations, and compliance standards
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive team culture focused on student-athlete development both on and off the court
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR
- Strong computer skills, experience with software related to recruitment of prospective student-athletes (Teamworks/ARMS, FrontRush)

The position is a full-time, exempt state role with comprehensive benefits.
